Meike Spekreijse – President
Hi everyone! My name is Meike Spekreijse. I am 20 years old and I’m currently in my third year of the bachelor Nutrition and Health. During my time as president, I will be leading all the board meetings and the General Members Meeting. In addition, my job is mainly to keep an overview within the board.
Outside of Di-Et-Tri, I like to have dinner with friends, do fun activities together with my housemates or go for a run. During the weekends I like to spend time with family or with friends. Anne Hoekman – Secretary
I’m Anne Hoekman and I am 18 years old. Currently, I’m in the second year of the bachelor Nutrition and Health. My function within the board is Secretary, which means I’m responsible for the mail, taking minutes and making sure everyone gets the Foodflash each week! I have been a part of the Foodcie and currently I’m still part of the BIGcie which I both enjoy(ed) a lot!
In my free time, I love to do various sports with friends or play some guitar! I hope to see you all soon at one of the activities or stop by the hok at lunchtime on Mondays for a chat! You can reach me by sending an email to diettri@wur.nl
Vera Prooi – Treasurer
Hey everyone! My name is Vera Prooi and I am 19 years old. I am currently in my thrid year of the bachelor Nutrition and Health. In January, I joined the Di-Et-Tri board, where I replaced Irene as the treasurer. This means that I will be responsible for everything regarding the money of Di-Et-Tri, such as contributions, declarations, bills and distributing money to the committees. I will also keep the members list up-to-date.
Before joining the board , I have been part of several committees of Di-Et-Tri. In my free time I like to dance, play games and spend time with my friends. Elisa Watt – Commissioner of Internal Affairs
Hi everyone! My name is Elisa, I’m 20 years old and currently in my second year of the bachelor. I am the commissioner of internal affairs, which means that I will be responsible for keeping contact with the committees, organizing the Nutrition week and I will also organize the bachelor study day of the AID. Within Di-Et-Tri you might know me from the VIKcie, a committee that is responsible for organizing a weekend away for the new first year students.
In my free time I like going to concerts, going out, and hitting the gym, though I also enjoy down time hanging out with my roommates in our big yard :). On Mondays you will usually find me with my friends at SSR-W. I’m so excited to take on a new challenge this year as part of the board! Lennart Kindt – Commissioner of External Affairs
Hi everyone! My name is Lennart Kindt, and I am 21 years old. I am in my second year of the bachelor Nutrition and Health. I was part of the First year Committee (EJC), and since September I am the Commissioner of External Affairs. Together with the Sponsorcie, of which I am the chair, I maintain contact with ongoing sponsors and try to approach new companies. I am also responsible for our social media. Furthermore, I make sure bachelor, and master students are provided with a small gift at the ceremony when they graduate.
In my free time I like to run. My favourite distance is the half marathon but events like the Veluweloop and the Batavierenrace I enjoy the most. When I am not running, I try to enjoy all kinds of pieces of nature. For example: Walking through the floodplains, forests and Botanical gardens in and around Wageningen.

Veerle Vermaire – Commissioner of Education
Hey everyone! My name is Veerle Vermaire. I am 19 years old and I am currently in my thrid year of the Bachelor Nutrition and Health. I have joined the board in January, where I replaced Annemijn as the Commissioner of Education. As Commissioner of Education, I am responsible for all the study related topics of the association. I am the chair of the Opcie and I will help with the organizing of the minor and thesis markets and the study info evening. Besides that, I maintain the website and the summary database and I am responsible for organizing the AID study day for the Master students.
Before I joined the board, I have been an active member of the association. I have been part of the VIKCie, BigCie and the Parents-dayCie. In my free time I like to play bassoon, spend time with my family and friends and go for walks with my housemates. I am really looking forward to begin with my second half year in the board with the other board members and I hope to see you all soon!
